Acupressure Therapy

Acupressure Therapy

Acupressure is a therapy developed over 5,000 years ago as an important aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves placing physical pressure, by hand, elbow, or with the aid of various devices, on different pressure points on the surface of the body. The activation of these points by applying pressure to them is used to relieve pain, reduce tension in muscles, improve circulation and promote deep states of relaxation. Acupressure treats conditions such as nausea and vomiting, motion sickness, headaches, neck and back pain, as well as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, mental and emotional stress.
